For the second straight year, Distill helped United Arts promote its innovate fund-raising event, "Guess who's coming to dinner?" The annual event invites art patrons to attend a private dinner party featuring a surprise celebrity with ties to the North Carolina arts community.
A promotional campaign developed by Distill was used to generate interest in the event and drive ticket sales. The campaign materials included an event logo, invitations, posters, direct mail and a web site.
"The creativity of the campaign, combined with the strategic advice on how to market the event, helped United Arts surpass its fundraising goal for the second year in a row," said Georgia Donaldson, the Special Events Coordinator for United Arts. "Distill has created a recognizable identity for this event that we can build on for years to come."
This year's event featured 20 dinner parties at some of the area's finest homes from October 18 - 21. Special guests included renowned potten Ben Owen III, Broadway costume designer William Ivey Long, Oscar winning film editor Hughes Winborne and scupltor Thomas Sayre.
