Capitol Infrastructure, an emerging telecommunications management company based in Cary, has hired Distill to strengthen its position as a leader in the rapidly-growing optical fiber-to-the-home industry. The company currently provides a single point of contact for fiber-to-the-home services to more than 50 communities across the Southeast United States.
The Raleigh advertising agency will re-brand Capitol Infrastructure and develop a new marketing strategy and identity package. Specific responsibilities include the development of a new name, logo and web site, sales and marketing materials and print advertising.
"Capitol Infrastructure has achieved tremendous early success in the fiber-to-the-home industry and established ourselves with the second-largest residential fiber deployment in the country," said Carter Steg, executive vice president of sales and marketing. "Now, as consumer awareness of our service model is becoming more vital to our success, we need to ramp up our marketing and branding efforts. We chose Distill for its creative talent and for its flexible business model that allows it to match our evolving needs."
For the initial strategic phase of the project, Distill has assembled a team with extensive experience working with leading-edge optical and high tech telecommunications brands.
"Capitol Infrastructure is poised for tremendous growth, and the time is right for them to raise their profile with a sound brand strategy and superior creative communications," said Ryan Hedspeth, director of operations at Distill. "We are looking forward to sharing the Capitol Infrastructure story and helping the company realize its true potential."
