ASC International has hired Distill to help develop and launch a new line of microfiber cleaning products. The agency's business and marketing strategists will be working with ASC to identify attractive market niches, develop sales forecasts, design product packaging and establish a memorable brand identity.
ASC International, based in Charlotte, is the exclusive distributor of Europe's most popular non-woven durable wipe. While the market for wipes has recently exploded in America, significant potential remains for new consumer products that utilize microfiber technology.
"The timing is perfect," said Don Solomon, chief marketing strategist for Distill. "Our landfills are overflowing and people are becoming more environmentally sensitive. Durable wipes represent a logical evolution - and a tremendous market opportunity. We're excited about launching these products and introducing American consumers to the benefits they represent."
ACS plans to begin test marketing new products later this year in selected cities across the US.
