Raleigh Convention Center looks to Distill for creative spark
November 2005

Distill is adding a creative spark to marketing efforts for the new Raleigh Convention Center. City officials have awarded the Raleigh-based ad agency a contract to provide strategic consulting on brand identity and creative positioning for this new Raleigh landmark.

Distill will work in partnership with Capstrat and French/West/Vaughn, two of North Carolina's largest public relations agencies, to develop and execute a compelling creative strategy to attract conventions to Raleigh.

"The new convention center will be a magnificent facility that serves as a catalyst to revitalize downtown Raleigh," said Ryan Hedspeth, director of operations at Distill. "We're thrilled to have the chance to help develop a creative campaign that makes an equally important statement."

Distill says its experience promoting downtown institutions caught the attention of Raleigh leaders and helped it capture the account.

The new convention center is scheduled to open in 2008.
