"Guess who's coming to dinner?" That's a question that Distill is helping United Arts of Raleigh and Wake County ask art patrons this month.
The Raleigh ad agency has developed a collection of promotional materials — including a logo, invitations, posters, direct mail and a web site — to generate interest in the organization's inaugural fund-raising event, "Guess who's coming to dinner." The innovative fund-raiser involves a series of 18 intimate dinner parties, hosted at some of the area's finest homes, each of which feature a notable surprise celebrity guest with ties to the North Carolina arts community.
"Distill is playing an integral part in the success of this new fundraiser," said Georgia Donaldson, the Special Events Coordinator for United Arts. "From the analytical to the creative aspects, Distill laid the groundwork that United Arts has built on. I consider them my 'Dream Team,' and we've already surpassed our fundraising goal by 25%. I look forward to working together again on next year's event."
The dinner parties, which will be held October 19-22 and cost $75-$250 per person, feature celebrities such as actress Sharon Lawrence, cartoonist Doug Marlette and director Frank Capra Jr. For more information, visit www.unitedarts.org.
