Pogo Health Selects Distill to Shape Online Nutritional Supplement Resource
September 2005

Pogo Health, an online healthcare service based in Chapel Hill, has tapped Distill to help with the national launch of a groundbreaking information resource aimed at educating consumers and health care providers about nutritional supplements.

The Raleigh ad agency is responsible for shaping the overall brand — including copywriting, web and collateral design — of www.pogohealth.com. The web service provides an unbiased, science-based resource guide, developed by a world-class team of doctors and nutritionists, with comprehensive information on supplements tailored to each user's needs.

Nutritional supplement use has been growing rapidly nationwide, but because the supplement industry is unregulated, the amount of incomplete, conflicting and misleading information has also grown. Pogo Health will fill this informational void, providing individualized evaluations, recommendations, information and education. And unlike many of its competitors, Pogo doesn't sell supplements, allowing for an unprecedented level of impartiality.

"This is a rare opportunity to help a truly important company make the powerful initial impact they really need to make," said Adam Cohen, Distill's founder and creative director. "There's a sea change going on in this country, with people using supplements to take a more pro-active approach to their health. Because of its unique offering, Pogo is going to very quickly move to the forefront of that movement."

The Pogo Health website is scheduled to launch in beta form in the spring of 2006, with a full national launch scheduled for later in the year.
