OddFellows Design Joins Forces with Distill;
Brad Magner, Neil Hinson Strengthen Creative Team

January 2005

Distill has expanded its creative roster with the addition of a couple of award-winning "odd fellows" who have an impressive background in the Raleigh advertising industry.

Brad Magner and Neil Hinson, partners in OddFellows Design and former partners at Front Door Advertising, have merged their advertising and design business with Distill.

"The coming together of OddFellows and Distill is a natural fit. Brad and Neil do exceptional work and share the same desire to elevate clients above the clutter through intelligent creativity," said Ryan Hedspeth, Distill's director of operations. "They have demonstrated their abilities time and time again and we're thrilled to have them as part of Distill."

Magner, an award-winning art director, and Hinson, a talented writer and producer, boast a long list of notable clients. While at Front Door, they handled creative duties for Midway Airlines, SouthPeak Entertainment, eTrials, Summus Technologies, The North Carolina Symphony, MicroMass, HAHT Commerce and Exploris Museum.

Magner and Hinson share a similar career path and entrepreneurial spirit with Distill founder and creative director Adam Cohen. Both began their careers working on national accounts at large advertising agencies — Brad tackling the likes of Audi, Royal Caribbean and Five Alive at McKinney + Silver, Neil handling Fleer/SkyBox, GlaxoSmithKline and the Special Olympics at Rockett, Burkhead and Winslow — before becoming a team at Front Door.

"Distill has an energetic and talented team that does extremely good work and has a lot of fun along the way. The ability to work with like-minded creative professionals was appealing to us," Magner said.
